Curriculum, prerequisites, and pricing.

Program overview

An 8-week, evening-cadence program built around the current PMI PMP examination. Most candidates we see have several years of project leadership experience but have never been formally trained in PMI's framework, this program closes that gap and prepares them for an exam that has shifted decisively away from rote memorization toward situational reasoning. Sessions are run by a credentialed senior project manager who has shipped real engagements under PMI's lifecycle frameworks across multi-country African contexts.

The program is deliberately part-time so working professionals can attend without taking leave. The 90-day study group continuation after class ends is where many of our candidates actually earn the credential.

Beyond the standard catalog

Custom corporate cohorts.

Most TTAKC cohort revenue comes from organizations training 8–30 people at a time. We'll customize curriculum to your stack, schedule around your team's bandwidth, and deliver in your timezone, virtual across Africa or on-site at your offices in Kigali, Nairobi, Lagos, Accra or beyond.

Common corporate scenarios we deliver against:

  • Fintech engineering teams uplifting DevOps maturity in a single coordinated cohort
  • NGO program managers earning PMP credentials as a cohort, often grant-funded
  • Mid-size organizations running PMP, PMO, and AWS programs in sequence over 12–18 months
  • Non-engineering departments at tech-enabled organizations needing AWS Cloud literacy
Why TTAKC for training

Senior practitioners. Africa-aware curriculum. No padding.

01

Senior practitioners, not lecturers

Your instructor has run the projects, not just studied them. The PMP instructor has shipped real projects under PMI's framework; the DevOps instructor has built and operated the systems they teach.

02

Africa-aware case studies

We use real African business contexts in every module — multi-currency revenue, intermittent connectivity, grant-funded programmatic cycles, distributed teams. Generic global frameworks don't survive contact with reality.

03

Exam-prep where it matters, no padding where it doesn't

Cloud Fundamentals is 16 hours, not 40, because the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam is foundational, and padding wastes participant time. Where deeper preparation pays off (PMP, DevOps), we go deeper.

04

Cohort, not isolation

You learn alongside peers from across the continent. Many graduates stay connected long after — your study group becomes your professional network. DevOps Advanced graduates join a permanent alumni channel.

Audiences

Who our training is for.

For individuals

  • Mid-career project managers pursuing PMP for international portability and senior-role eligibility
  • Software engineers and sysadmins moving deliberately into DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering
  • Career-changers from non-IT backgrounds entering cloud-adjacent roles (sales, product, account management at tech companies)
  • Recent graduates in CS, engineering, or business who need a credential plus a portfolio piece to differentiate in early-career hiring
  • Senior engineers filling the gaps in their self-taught DevOps practice with the structured DevOps Advanced track

For organizations

  • HR / L&D teams at fintechs, NGOs, and corporates developing 8–30 people at a time
  • Engineering organizations uplifting whole teams' DevOps maturity in one coordinated cohort
  • Mid-size organizations standing up new PMO functions or maturing existing ones
  • NGOs preparing for major donor-funded programs where PMP is increasingly an explicit tender requirement
  • Universities and training bodies seeking a credentialed delivery partner for executive education
  • Government agencies and parastatals building in-house technology and project management capability
